Goldman Sachs Says It May Lose $3.4 Billion

The fifth largest bank in the U.S., Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., says it may lose as much as $3.4 billion in pending claims through arbitration or litigation, according to Bloomberg News.

Goldman has estimated that it is “reasonably possible” for the firm to need that much for investor claims and litigation costs where investors are demanding that Goldman repurchase various securities marketed and sold by the firm.
